First, let's have a look at some key facts of abused children (WHO):
- 75% children (~ 225 million), aged 2 – 4 years regularly suffer any kind of violence, including sexual abuse, in the hands of adults, especially among family members and caregivers.
- 120 million girls and young women (less than 20 years) suffer from sexual abuse.
- 20% of women and 8% of men have been sexually abused while children and young teenagers.
Apparently the dark figures are by far a lot higher.
That is quite a lot of abused people.
How to Protect your Child from falling Victim to Sex Predators?
We, as anxious parents, have to leave our children with caregivers to go to work. Many children get abused and very often are told not to tell anything to their parents. The reason why we recommend to teach your toddlers, with very simple words not to be touched, even screaming if necessary. For instance, their private parts should never be touched by a doctor or a nurse without the presence of the mother or / and the father. Valid in other circumstances, as well.
These abuses destroy the children’s lives, forever. When adults these situations may lead to violence from their part toward their own children. These situations distress and destroy the whole fabric of the family unit, often physically and mainly psychologically, without speaking about the costs that such treatments entail and the loss of productivity in the companies.
As we can see everything is interlinked.
Is there a way to prevent it? YES, there is.
There is a way that could lower drastically all these abuses, even mature adults could be protected, and kidnaps could be averted. If everybody would use it, we could reach vitually almost 99% or more of happy children with no fear of being abused.
The perpetrator would be immediately 'identified and arrested'. The abused person could immediately be taken into medical custody to get the needed help – no more waiting for 20 years for actions to be revealed, if ever.
Benefits of this program / technology:
- A lot less victims and a lot less future victims, perpetrated by the same people and past victims – virtually the vicious circle would be interrupted.
- Lower costs for governments and the social security, even insurances would benefit (a lot less legal proceedings).
- A lot less human resources devoted to these affairs. These same resources could be used somewhere else to combat other crimes, and the benefits not seeing anymore gruesome videos and pictures.
- Among other benefits, seeing a PERMANENT SMILE on a child.
This technology is part of EVA Smart City's program, by a long shot, the most secure city in the world. A survey showed that over 90% of the families would adopt such a protection program in that city.
